Chardham

Four pilgrim-destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, collectively known as Chardham in Uttarakhand. Attracting more and more pilgrims each year, it has become one of the most important hubs of religious travel in Northern India. Traditionally, this pilgrimage tour should begin from the West and end in the East. Thus, the Char DhamYatra commences from Yamunotri (Shakti, goddess), then proceeding to Gangotri (Shakti, goddess), and finally to Kedarnath ( Shiva ) and Badrinath (Vaishnava).

In accordance with the Hindu conventions, thousands of devotees take up this pious tour in the hope to experience bliss and successfully purge their souls of all worldly demons.

Itinerary

  • DAY 01: LONDON – DELHI

    Assemble at London Heathrow / Gatwick airport to board flight No. XXXX at XXXX hours for New Delhi. Overnight in Flight.

  • DAY 02: DELHI

    Arrive New Delhi International airport by flight No. XXXX at XXXX hrs. Upon arrival, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our representative who will be holding a placard with RAJDHANI TOURS AND TRAVELS (UK) LTD. You will be welcomed and greeted at the airport and transferred to hotel. Check in hotel. Later day free at leisure. Overnight at New Delhi.

  • DAY 03: DELHI – HARIDWAR (210 KMS – APPROX 6 TO 7 HRS)

    After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. Lunch on the way. Evening arrive and check in. Overnight at Haridwar.

  • DAY 04: HARIDWAR

    After breakfast Haridwar sightseeing Bharat Mata Mandir, Pawan Dham & Shantikunj Gayatri Mata Mandir. After lunch visit to Daksheswara Mahadev Temple at Khankhal. After the prayers, enjoy the Ganga Aarti at HarkiPaudi and return to hotel. Overnight at Haridwar.

  • DAY 05: HARIDWAR – BARKOT (YAMUNOTRI) (190 KMS – APPROX 10 HRS)

    After breakfast, proceed to Barkot based camp for Yamunotri. Enroute visit the famous Kempty Water Falls. Lunch on the way. Evening arrive and check in . Overnight at Barkot.

  • DAY 06: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT (52 KMS ROAD APPROX 2 HRS + 6 KMS BY WALK, HORSE / DOLI – ONE WAY)

    Early morning at 05:00 am depart for Jhankichatti, after breakfast, 6 km. trek for Yamunotri. You can Hire Doli / Horse (at your own cost) or by walk (6500ft from Sea Level). Arrive and perform Pooja & Darshan of Shri Yamunotri Maharani. Evening back to Barkot. Overnight at Barkot.

  • DAY 07: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI (110 KMS – APPROX. 5 HRS)

    After breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi. Enroute visit Prakateshwar Mahadev. Arrive Uttarkashi and check in. After lunch visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overnight at Uttarkashi.

  • DAY 08: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100 KMS – APPROX. 4 HRS. ONE WAY)

    Early morning depart for Gangotri. Enroute visit Gangnani Hot Water Springs. After breakfast visit to Gangotri Temple. Arrive and perform Pooja & Darshan of Shri Gangotri. After lunch return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight at Uttarkashi.

  • DAY 09: UTTARKASHI - SITAPUR (275 KMS- APPROX. 12 HRS.)

    After breakfast, depart for Sitapur based camp for Shri Kedarnath Ji. Lunch on the way. Enroute visit union of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers at Rudarprayag. Arrive and check in. Overnight at Sitapur.

  • DAY 10: SITAPUR – GAURI KUND – KEDARNATHJI (16 KMS ONE WAY)

    Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Gauri Kund, from Gauri Kund you can Hire Doli / Horse (at your own cost)or by walk (11500ft from Sea Level) for KedarnathJi. Arrive and perform Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Ji. Overnight at Kedarnath Dharamshala.

  • DAY 11: KEDARNATHJI – GAURI KUND – SITAPUR(16 KMS ONE WAY).

    After breakfast, visit to Shri Badirnath Ji Temple. Take a holy dip at Badrinath hot water springs and perform Pooja & Darshan of Shri Badirnathji & Shri Mahaprabhuji Bethakji. Later visit Mana Village last village of India near India – China Border. Overnight at Badrinath.
