Bhutan

Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.

  • DAY 01: DELHI / MUMBAI / AHEMDABAD – KOLKATA

    Assemble from Delhi / Mumbai / Ahmedabad airport to board Flight no. XXXX at XXXX hours for Kolkata. Arrive Kolkata Airport by Flight no. XXXX at XXXX hours. Upon arrival, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our representative who will be holding a placard with RAJDHANI TOURS AND TRAVELS and transferred to hotel. Check in hotel. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Kolkata.

  • DAY 02: KOLKATA – BAGDOGRA – PHUENTSHOLING

    After breakfast, transfer to Kolkata airport to board flight no. XXXX at XXXX hours for Bagdogra. Arrive Bagdogra airport at XXXX hours. Upon arrival, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our representative who will be holding a placard with RAJDHANI TOURS AND TRAVELS and transferred to hotel.   • DAY 03: PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU

    After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu “The Capital Town of Bhutan “one can enjoy beautiful Mountain view and River side on the way. On arrival check in hotel. Evening visit the Tashichho Dzong, the head seat of the King and the Je Khenpo, the highest abbot of Bhutan. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Thimphu.

  • DAY 04: THIMPHU

    After breakfast visit outer view Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Statue known as Buddha Point), Hindu Temple, Outer view of National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and Afternoon visit Nunnery (Female Monk Prayer Place), BBS Tower, Centenary Farmer Market (Handicraft product and Local product can be Found here) and visit Simply Bhutan. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Thimpu.

  • DAY 05: THIMPHU – DOCHU LA PASS – PUNAKHA

    After breakfast, drive to Punakha you have to cross Dochu-la Pass from where one can see of Beautiful Mountain ranges of Bhutan (Subject to weather condition) and here it is built 108 memorial chorten (small stupas). Arrive and check in hotel. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Punakha.

  • DAY 06: PUNAKHA

    After breakfast, visit to Phobjikha Valley, also known as "The Valley of Black Necked Cranes," renowned for its vast U-shaped glacial valley and as a habitat for Black-Necked Cranes. Later, explore Gangtey Gompa/Phobjikha (3,000m/9,845ft). This valley is among the most beautiful and scenic in Bhutan, on the slope overlooking the Gangtey monastery, dating back to the 17th century. It is one of the oldest and largest monasteries of the Nyingma (Red Hat Sect) school of Buddhism. Evening back to Punakha. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Punakha.

  • DAY 07: PUNAKHA – PARO

    After breakfast, proceed to Paro, Paro is famous for Taktshang Monstery (also known as Tiger’s Nest). Arrive and check in hotel. Later visit to Mountain River, where you can experience the refreshing and clear waters. Later, we will visit the Paro Market, a charming place to crafted wooden handicrafts and showcasing of typical Bhutanese arts. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Paro.

  • DAY 08: PARO

    After breakfast, excursion trip to Chele-La-Pass – the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty and memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass. Back to Paro on the way can visit eagle view Point (From here one can see the beautiful artistic Airport and its Taxi). Evening Try Bhutanese Traditional Dress and Shopping at Town. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Paro.

  • DAY 09: PARO – PHUENTSHOLING

    After breakfast, proceed to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later day free. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Phuentsholing.
